Born in Wichita Kansas, Clayton Lee Bailey has lived and worked in Dallas since 1999. Clayton studied graphic design at Friends University in Wichita and continued his education at the Art Institute of Dallas where he focused on 3D animation. As a full time artist, Clayton creates multimedia sculpture using aluminum, copper, stone, steel, glass and clay. Clayton's work is both innovative and accessible to the viewer. As an artist, he strives to create work that is both original and which hearkens back to the lost art of hand-crafted metal, glass and wood sculpture. Clayton creates both original and custom pieces and is devoted to creating work that caters to the viewer. His work has been seen in Washington DC, New York, London, Saudi Arabia and all over the southwestern United States. He has commissioned work in numerous restaurants, office buildings, clothing stores private homes and hotels.
